Your Opportunity
Our Vancouver Office is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Canadian Tax Services team in September 2027 and own the following responsibilities:
Efficiently utilize technical knowledge to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients
Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments
Assist with researching tax issues and documenting this research in tax memos or client letters
Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis

You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting

Earn your CPA designation
At BDO, we’re committed to the success of students pursuing their CPA designation. We provide pre-approved programs across our 80+ offices, mentorship and support, reimbursement of exam fees, enrollment in Canada’s leading CFE prep course, and flexible options for study leave in order for you to be successful.
The expected salary range for the position is $55,000 - $63,000.
