As a Neuroscience Sales Consultant, you will join a highly skilled, determined, and integrated cross functional team. Your wealth of experience will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and solutions at both local and national levels.
Responsibilities
Always with high integrity and with patients’ interests at the forefront, you will gather and analyze customer and centre-level insights to develop and execute local account strategies which maximize territory potential using a range of engagement channels.
You will collaborate very closely with other field-based roles, including Alzheimer’s Ecosystem Managers, Regional Market Access Managers and Medical team to understand the ecosystem, patient flow and key decision makers and ensure coordinated touchpoints and cross functional action planning, particularly with prescribers and multidisciplinary care teams.
Specifically, the Neuroscience Sales Consultant is responsible for:
- Identifying, building, and expanding networks among priority accounts
- Gathering and interpreting insights to develop and implement a territory business plan aligned to the brand strategy
- Compliantly delivering on sales & new patient start targets by planning and delivering a mixture of focused customer interactions, including face to face calls, meetings, digital tactics & group events.
- Developing and maintaining deep product and therapeutic area knowledge
- Using business information to identify variance and opportunities in account performance and developing action plans to maximize results.
- Identifying relevant opportunities to mobilize other functions to drive further value (medical, diagnostics, access, ecosystem, etc)
- Connecting and building relationships with thought leaders and key local stakeholders
- Collaborating with other field colleagues to support insight gathering and actively shaping diagnostic and treatment pathways.
- Initiating, managing and delivering account-based projects that ensure safe delivery and access to our medicines
- Demonstration of high integrity & compliance at all times.
Basic Requirements:
- Demonstrated winning mindset, high flexibility, self-starter
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, considerable challenges, and adapting to changing strategic priorities
- University degree, prefer graduate degree in science and/or business
- Min 3-5 years in pharmaceutical sales/account management is required
- Experience in neuroscience, rare disease & specialty brands is preferred
- Additional experience in medical affairs, partnerships, and access roles is preferred
- Understanding of health system & hospital structure, policy and processes is preferred
- Demonstrated strong cross functional collaboration and team first approach
- Demonstrated creativity in complex problem solving and customer solutions
- Demonstrated thought leader management capabilities
- Demonstrated value-based interactions and omni-channel engagement capabilities
- Strong analytical & project management skills - strategic territory management experience is an asset
- Place of residence: Toronto/GTA West
- Travel requirement: 20-30%
