Fortinet is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and passionate Senior Network Specialist to work closely with the Information Systems team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all DC networks

  • Design and deploy automation system to scale out Fortinet network across multiple DCs.

  • Create/update/maintain Fortinet DC network standards

  • Apply network changes per change request

  • Work with different ISP/Vendors for network peering

  • Providing daily support for all DC networks

  • Deploy/maintain office and lab network infrastructure

  • Create/update/maintain logical and physical network technologies.

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure continuity of network service.

  • Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, participates in developing permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation. Resolving emergency incidents.

Job Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related field(Master and above preferred)

  • 7+ years of network experience in large-scale networking environment.

  • Excellent with dynamic routing protocols: BGP and OSPF (CCIE preferred)

  • Excellent with Layer2 protocols: STP, LACP, MCLAG etc.

  • Excellent with advance next-generation firewall technologies

  • Familiar with network automation: Ansible, Saltstack and python

  • Familiar with Fortinet security products

  • Familiar with change management process and tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $83,500 - $102,100 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
