Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

The National Sales Manager (NSM) is a working manager responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving access to Enovis products. The National Sales Manager is a passionate, energetic, hands-on sales leader responsible for achieving revenue goals through leading a diverse sales team and their successful implementation of both strategic and tactical sales activities. The role will develop, implement, and closely monitor sales strategy, field sales team effectiveness, processes, and sales plans to achieve the growth and financial goals of Enovis Canada. 

Key Responsibilities:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need. 

  • Develops plans and sets priorities to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue goals based on overall business plan and understanding of accounts and territories. 
  • Consistently works to improve personal knowledge and leadership skills to add greater value to all customers, potential customers 
  • Facilitates a culture of teamwork, inclusiveness and excellence among the sales team, as well throughout the organization 
  • Provides support and coaching to sales employees to facilitate a high level of product sales contributing to company objectives. 
  • Extensive CRM process and system knowledge and adoption.  
  • Performs sales analysis trending and tracking. 
  • Links the operations of the Sales team with key Marketing internal resources to maximize overall business efficiency. 
  • Proactively identifies, establishes and maintains strong relationships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). 
  • Identify opportunities in the market and discuss with management.  
  • Supervise market trends, including competitors and new technologies.  
  • Works with Enovis sales team members to gain access in competitive accounts and grow organic business. 
  • Understands customer needs and establishes specific business plans and solutions that meet those needs (short and long term) while driving business objectives. 
  • Demonstrates proper use of products and communicates the Company value proposition. 
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Enovis Compliance & Ethics Program, the Enovis Code of Conduct, the Enovis Sales and Marketing Code of Conduct, the MedTech Canada and AdvaMed Code of Ethics, and all supporting and applicable regulations, policies and procedures. 
  • Treats Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. 

Relationship Building 

  • Develops ongoing relationships with customers to ensure Enovis products are used safely and effectively. 
  • Establishes himself/herself as a trusted business advisor to customers 
  • Works with new and existing accounts to establish and maintain customer relationships and secure volume. 
  • Ensures client satisfaction and addresses concerns and/or issues promptly. 
  • Coordinates and communicates with Senior Management on a regular basis. 

Compliance 

  • Compliantly engages resources to support optimal product access across accounts. 
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Compliance & Ethics Program, the Enovis Code of Conduct, the Enovis Sales and Marketing Code of Conduct, the MedTech Canada and AdvaMed Code of Ethics, and all supporting and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. 
  • Adheres to all internal Corporate Compliance guidelines, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures, and privacy and security standards in accordance with government agencies, including HIPAA requirements. 
  • Treats Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. 
  • Acquires a basic understanding of the field to include regulatory compliance issues and adheres to these guidelines. 

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

Education & Experience 

  • 5+ years Sales experience, or related field equivalent 
  • Experience in healthcare industry or medical sales strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with distributors or multi-national accounts an asset. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement preferred.  
  • You have demonstrated experience in leading teams of sales high performance team.  
  • You have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • You are a driven and enthusiastic team and process leader.  
  • Ability to travel 50% of the monthly working time  
  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required. 
  • Position requires car and air travel on a routine basis. 
  • Works in the field with Territory and Account Managers and customers a minimum of 60% of the work week.

Other 

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
