We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team for a full-time contract of approximately two years. The successful candidate would contribute to our goals of building and promoting the Pender brand and positioning the firm to drive growth in our sales channels. This role is responsible for designing and delivering marketing campaigns and materials that raise awareness of Pender with our target audiences, drive interest through our digital marketing channels, generate leads, shorten sales cycles and increase win rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops campaign plans that are aligned with Pender’s quarterly and annual business objectives.
- Works closely with Sales, Product and teammates in Marketing to align plans with additional considerations such as go-to-market plans, product launches and sales campaign cycles.
- Project manages campaign delivery, from concept, through implementation to reporting; manages budgets and timelines.
- Coordinates the development of campaign assets: determines and writes messaging, briefs designer on creative, harnesses digital platforms and partners with 3rd party vendors as required.
- Ensures consistency with visual identity and maintains asset accuracy throughout campaign duration.
- Incorporates tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure and optimize campaign performance and determines successful achievement of campaign objectives such as engagement and conversion rates; writes campaign report complete with learnings for next time.
- Contributes to the delivery of corporate and other marketing projects such as events, video or podcast production, and other campaigns.
- Undertakes additional business-as-usual marketing activities, such as drafting social posts and content for email alerts, proof reading, reviewing transcripts and uploading content to the website.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in marketing within investment management, wealth management or financial services.
- A creative and versatile Marketing professional who has proven ability to develop compelling, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience and understanding of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud (MCAE) platforms to deliver and track marketing effectiveness and sales conversion.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing channel-marketing strategies and customer segmentation initiatives.
- An experienced project manager with excellent organizational skills to manage timelines, budget, assets and metrics for multiple campaigns.
- Experience of managing projects, tasks and workflows using a task management platform such as Asana.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the marketing team, internal colleagues and “clients” and external partners.

We are sharing that the estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year. In determining final salary, Pender considers many factors including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, job responsibilities, market conditions, position location and internal equity. Our aim is to ensure fair compensation practices that align with industry standards while acknowledging the unique value and expertise each individual brings to the role. The final base salary for the offer will be presented as part of a competitive compensation package.
