About The Role
We are looking for a highly organized, data-driven, and collaborative Marketing Manager, North America to manage our omni-channel campaigns across the US and Canada. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as the key liaison to our overseas HQ, localizing global strategy into high-impact regional initiatives.
You are the operational engine of our North American marketing team. From owning regional budgets and managing external agencies to ensuring our brand messaging resonates locally without compromising global brand standards, you understand how to balance brand-building with rigorous performance marketing. Equally important is your ability to lead: you will directly manage a Marketing Coordinator, providing the coaching, mentorship, and structure they need to thrive.
This is a hybrid role based in
Vancouver, BC (2 days in office with core hours and 3 days remote). We offer the flexibility to adjust your daily schedule to facilitate collaboration and alignment with our global headquarters in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Execution
- Convert global annual plans into North American campaigns that drive regional revenue goals.
- Oversee daily execution of performance channels via agencies and contractors, ensuring timely launches, accurate budget pacing, and on-brand creative.
- Align top-of-funnel initiatives (PR and Influencer marketing) with bottom-funnel performance and conversion targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the global HQ team to maintain cohesive, brand-aligned marketing initiatives.
2. Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as the primary operational liaison between the North American and global HQ teams.
- Direct agencies and contractors by setting clear targets, providing strategy, and reviewing deliverables for quality.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to provide the strategic visibility and brand clarity they need to drive local success.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Marketing Coordinator, guiding their daily prioritization and long-term career growth.
3. Budget & Reporting
- Own and optimize the regional marketing budget to maximize efficiency and ROI.
- Track campaign performance across all platforms, delivering monthly reports on core KPIs and goals.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline data analysis and accelerate the monthly reporting workflow.
- Monitor brand positioning and consumer insights to guide the regional team on competitor movements and market trends.
- Audit data accuracy rigorously. Flag inefficiencies when metrics don’t translate to conversions and propose pivots to the GM as well as related HQ marketing functions.
Qualifications
- +5 years related experience with digital marketing (performance marketing, email, affiliate, social media, PR and influencer) as well as traditional marketing campaigns. (Experience in new market expansion is a plus!)
- +3 years of experience managing people, mentoring junior team members, and overseeing external agencies and freelancers.
- Proven ability to manage a regional budget and drive data-backed ROI.
- Strong project management skills to seamlessly pivot between data analysis, creative briefs, and global coordination.
- You are curious about AI, you don’t need to be an expert, but you are eager to learn and integrate AI tools to work smarter and speed up reporting.
- You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and embrace the opportunity to pivot strategies as market conditions and business needs evolve.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and flexibility to collaborate across global time zones and hold contractors accountable.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
