Position Summary

The Email Marketing Coordinator / Assistant is a junior-level role responsible for supporting the execution of Bellesa's email and SMS marketing campaigns from concept to deployment. Working closely with the marketing team, this person will help coordinate campaign production, prepare creative assets, perform quality assurance, schedule campaigns, and assist with reporting to support engagement, retention, and revenue goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop hands-on experience in email and lifecycle marketing.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmail Marketing
  • Assist in writing engaging email copy aligned with brand voice and campaign objectives.
  • Prepare creative briefs for design and content teams.
  • Coordinate campaign assets and help manage the review and approval process with stakeholders.
  • Build and QA email campaigns in Klaviyo, including links, personalization, segmentation, images, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Review campaign previews across devices and inboxes before deployment.
  • Schedule and deploy email campaigns according to the marketing calendar.
  • Ensure campaigns meet brand, legal, and accessibility standards.
SMS Marketing
  • Assist in writing SMS copy that aligns with campaign messaging and brand tone.
  • Prepare creative briefs where required.
  • Build SMS campaigns and flows in Klaviyo with guidance from the team.
  • Schedule SMS campaigns and ensure proper audience targeting.
  • Perform QA on SMS campaigns prior to launch.
Reporting & Learning
  • Compile weekly SMS and email performance reports.
  • Assist with reviewing A/B test results and documenting insights.
  • Monitor campaign metrics including open rates, click rates, conversions, unsubscribe rates, and revenue.
  • Support the team in identifying testing and optimization opportunities.
Campaign Coordination
  • Maintain the email and SMS marketing calendar.
  • Coordinate with Creative, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to help keep campaigns on schedule.
  • Track campaign assets and approvals ahead of launch deadlines.
  • Maintain campaign documentation, checklists, and marketing processes.
Qualifications
  • Internship experience, recent graduate, or 0–1 year of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, or a related field.
  • Interest in email marketing and lifecycle marketing; experience with Klaviyo is an asset but not required.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an interest in quality assurance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Eager to learn in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to Klaviyo or another email marketing platform.
  • Basic understanding of A/B testing or campaign reporting.
  • Interest in ecommerce or DTC brands.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email is considered an asset.
