Own Cognizo’s visual identity and design system across Figma, Webflow, sales presentations, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards, ads, social creatives, product graphics, and light motion. Build reusable templates, publish assets independently, and translate short briefs into polished design options. The role is fractional, remote, self-directed, and focused on establishing a consistent B2B SaaS brand across market-facing channels.

Help marketers adapt to the future of search.

Cognizo is on a mission to help brands win in the age of AI. As search engines evolve into answer engines, we're pioneering a new category: AI search optimization. Our platform helps marketers understand and improve how visible their brand is when customers ask questions like 'What's the best [product] for [use case]?' to AI tools like ChatGPT.

We're growing fast, with strong demand and enterprise customers like LG, Pacsun, and Red Sift who expect us to look the part. Until now, every page, deck and creative has been designed by our founder. We're hiring our first Marketing Designer to raise that bar: define what Cognizo looks like, build the system behind it, and own everything we put in front of the market.

If you have sharp taste, care about the details and want your work in front of senior marketing leaders every week, we want to meet you.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the design system: audit what exists, evolve it (or make the case for something bolder), and document it in Figma so everything we ship is consistent.
  • Design landing pages and website sections in Webflow.
  • Own our sales deck system in PowerPoint, plus one-pagers, case studies and battlecards the sales team can edit without breaking.
  • Produce ad and social creatives (LinkedIn, paid social, display) in volume and in variants for testing.
  • Create product mockups, feature graphics and light motion (GIFs, simple animations) for use across web, decks and ads.
  • Publish and hand off without hand-holding: Webflow CMS, email templates, asset exports for sales.
  • Work from short briefs. You'll get the story and the goal; you own how it looks and getting it shipped.
You might be a fit if...
  • You have 4+ years designing for B2B SaaS, or at an agency serving SaaS clients.
  • Your portfolio shows one brand carried consistently across a website, a deck and ads.
  • You're expert in Figma and have personally built and shipped live Webflow sites, not just designed them.
  • You're fluent in PowerPoint and Google Slides, including building templates other people can use.
  • You have strong typography and layout instincts. You notice when something is 2px off.
  • You're fast and self-directed. A two-line brief comes back as three solid options.
  • You have a point of view. You can work within what exists today and tell us, with a straight face, when something should change.
  • Bonus: motion (After Effects, Lottie or Rive), basic HTML/CSS, or familiarity with SEO/AEO tools.
How we'll work
  • 2–3 days per week as an independent contractor, paid in USD, with a path to full-time as volume grows.
  • Remote. We're based in New York and prefer candidates in the US or Istanbul, with at least 4 hours of overlap with US Eastern working hours.
  • A one-week handoff up front: what exists today, references we love and where we think the brand should go.
  • Weekly priorities set with the founder; you own the queue from there.
  • A short paid trial project as part of the process: one landing page section plus three ad variants from our system.
Why you'll love it here
  • First designer: you'll define how Cognizo looks for years, not inherit someone else's decisions.
  • Founding team: you'll work directly with the founders and see your work in the market within days.
  • Explosive market: we're early in a space that's growing faster than most can keep up with.
  • Fast-paced, no-nonsense culture. We move fast, execute hard and skip the fluff.
  • Remote-first and flexible. Work where you're most effective.
  • Mission-driven team. We're building something new and important and we care deeply about doing it right.
Ready to shape how a new category looks?

Include a portfolio link (a live Webflow site you built is a plus) and a short note on what you'd change first about cognizo.ai in your application. Apply now or reach out, we'd love to hear from you.
