Position Summary

Are you a highly versatile multi-hyphenate? If you can write with flair, think visually, and can turn data into insights, we want you to join our expanding and impactful Samsung R&D Marketing team as a Marketing Content Specialist.
We're looking for a creative problem-solver who’s comfortable jumping between formats—from long-form blogs to eye-catching visuals—and who’s not afraid to dig into data to help shape our content strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Write and edit long-form and short-form marketing copy that aligns with our editorial style
  • A solid understanding of grammar, structure, and storytelling is essential
  • Create blog feature images and videos that align with our visual guidelines
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite are required
  • Support the team by researching industry trends, audience insights, competitor activity, and platform best practices
  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to summarize key findings are essential

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of marketing or business writing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and SEO best practices.
  • B2B experience and a design portfolio are assets
  • Must be open to occasional evening work (5–7 pm, with advance notice) to support global time zones.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $58,310 and $75,460 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.

The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.
