Our Marketing AI Automation Engineer will Make Marketing faster, smarter and more automated - at enterprise scale. We have strong systems(Salesforce, SFMC, Segment, analytics, moving to Snowflake). The bottleneck is execution velocity: Creative testing, reporting and lifecycle personalization are still too manual and too slow. This role is a one-person automation engine for the marketing org. You'll build the workflows, Ships V1's quickly, and turn them into repeatable systems the team can run.

Responsibilities

What you can expect during the first 90 days!

  1. Creative testing Engine - Stand up an experimentation system with scoring, and always-on test calendar, and a learnings repository across email, web & paid.
  2. Automated Business Pulse - Automate weekly exec dashboards + teams updates pulling from CDP/warehouse/analytics. Including “what changed and why” summaries.
  3. Lifecycle Personalization Upgrades - Add personalization to lifecycle emails using account-level CRM + Third party Data and our existing recommendation engine to lift CTR and conversion.
  4. SEO Insights via AI - Leverage Cutting Edge models to analyze and improve our SEO strategy.
Automation & scale
  • Build automation-first workflows across marketing ops using low-code tools (e.g., n8n/Zapier equivalents) plus data warehouses and AI-assisted coding as needed.
  • Create reusable templates, playbooks, QA checklists, and guardrails so what you build scales beyond you.
  • Operate like an internal consultant: find bottlenecks, propose the automation, ship it, hand it off.
AI-powered creative velocity
  • Generate and iterate creative variants at scale (copy, images, layouts, CTAs, basic video concepts).
  • Set up pipelines that move assets from “idea → variants → approval → launch” with minimal manual overhead.
Automated QA (reduce mistakes)
  • Build pre-flight QA for campaigns: broken links, tracking/UTMs, rendering checks, compliance/policy checks, and “smoke tests” before sends/launches.
Reporting & alerts
  • Automate recurring reporting and dashboards—reduce manual work and improve reliability.
  • Push performance alerts and anomaly detection into Microsoft Teams (and keep it actionable, not noisy).
AI video for auctions + results (distributed via LinkedIn)
  • Build a workflow to generate short videos for upcoming auctions and auction results using approved tools (e.g., ElevenLabs) and AI avatars.
  • Enable distribution through EveryoneSocial (so the sales org can easily repost).
Scrappy execution with smart outsourcing
  • Automate what’s worth automating.
  • When it isn’t: write the spec, hire contractors, and QA the output—keep your time on high-leverage work.
QualificationsMust-haves
  • 3–6 years in marketing ops, growth engineering, lifecycle ops, or technical marketing roles.
  • Comfortable with APIs + SQL + automation platforms (you don’t need to be a SWE, but you know enough to avoid breaking production).
  • AI-native builder: you’ve shipped real workflows using LLMs (e.g., Copilot / Anthropic) and understand when to automate vs. add human review.
  • Strong operator mindset: you design systems that are reliable, observable, and easy for others to run.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience hiring and leveraging a team of international contractors
  • GEO: Experience thinking through and improving GEO strategis
  • SFMC, Salesforce, Optimizely experience
  • Segment + warehouse + BI tooling familiarity (Snowflake/Looker/Tableau/GA4)
  • Experience with AI video tools (ElevenLabs / Runway / Synthesia / HeyGen)
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and measurement design
  • Working knowledge of SEO and Performance Marketing
