The Opportunity:

As a Market & Growth Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping FISPAN's strategic direction. Reporting directly to the Manager of Strategy & Operations, you will be the "eyes and ears" of the market, providing critical insights that inform our GTM strategy, product roadmap, and overall competitive positioning. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence decisions that drive our growth by working at the intersection of product, finance, and strategy in a high-growth FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competitive Intelligence & Strategic Positioning: Systematically track, analyze, and synthesize intelligence on direct competitors and emerging players in the embedded banking and AP/AR automation landscapes, including monitoring product launches, pricing changes, and GTM strategies.
  • Market Opportunity Sizing & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify and quantify new opportunities for product expansion, strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.
  • Pricing & Packaging Research: Research and analyze competitive pricing models and market willingness-to-pay for existing and upcoming products to provide data-driven insights to optimize pricing strategy.
  • Voice of the Customer (VoC) Contribution: Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing team’s efforts on gathering qualitative feedback from various sources to synthesize product ICP and GTM messaging.
  • GTM & Channel Insights: Research the effectiveness of various GTM channels and recommend strategies for optimizing their contribution to client growth.
  • AI/LLM Application & Tooling: Able & willing to leverage AI/LLM tools for accelerating data gathering, initial synthesis, and summarization of market research, competitive intelligence, and other strategic inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding FISPAN’s business & ERP banking space.
  • Active user of AI tools to solve problems, optimizing processes, and more.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous primary and secondary research, synthesize complex information, and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling narratives and present strategic recommendations to a senior audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. 

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in early-stage or growth-focused companies.
  • Experience in roles such as market research, competitive intelligence, strategy consulting, or business analysis, preferably within the B2B SaaS or FinTech industries.
  • Familiarity with financial services, treasury management, ERP systems, or embedded finance is a significant plus.

Compensation Package  

FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
