PagerDuty is seeking an experienced Manager for our Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team to lead our inbound lead qualification and management. This role will be instrumental in building, developing, and managing a high-performing team of SDRs while ensuring efficient lead qualification and conversion processes. The SDR Team Manager will oversee all aspects of inbound lead management, including developing and implementing strategies to qualify, nurture, and convert leads into both opportunities and closed won opportunities. They will build and manage a team of SDRs, establish performance metrics, and ensure alignment with overall sales objectives.

Primary duties include:

  • Establishing and maintaining lead qualification processes
  • Implementing best practices for lead management
  • Providing regular performance feedback to the team
  • Creating comprehensive reports on team performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics.
  • Hiring, onboarding, and training new SDR team members
  • Forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to senior leadership
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead flow and conversion rates. In particular, this individual will partner closely with the Events and Digital teams to successfully implement Field events and targeted ad and nurture campaigns.
  • Work in collaboration with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations and Sales leadership to improve opportunity management and qualification processes for target accounts with the goal of increased revenue from engagement

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in sales management or sales development management, with an evident record of over achievement on quota expectations
  • Track record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment
  • Confirmed experience successfully hiring, training and coaching people to achieve performance goals
  • Successful track record in a high volume transaction sales environment
  • Exceptional communication, social and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Leadership and Marketing Operations
  • Proficiency with business development technologies like Salesforce.com, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Gong, io and Zoominfo
  • Bachelor's degree required

The base salary range for this position is 88,000 - 121,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
