Starting Salary: $113,327 to $169,990

Position Objective:
Lead the talent review and succession planning processes within the NPA division in partnership with senior divisional leadership. Collaborate with divisional leaders to identify, develop, and retain top talent. Create robust leadership, professional and technical pipelines within the organization. Drive the strategic initiative talent identification and development to align with the division’s long-term goals.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead Organizational Planning and Talent Reviews assuring the long-term success of the business and its financial commitments. Ensure alignment inclusive of solid succession planning throughout the organization. Create robust leadership, professional and technical pipelines within the organization.
Design, develop and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Promote employee development and identify organizational and employee knowledge and informational deficiencies, design learning initiatives, and facilitate employee development opportunities. Supports and fosters a culture of continuous learning.
Designs and oversees comprehensive learning programs focusing on supervisor and manager development for high performance teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of talent assessments and succession plans. Ensure local HRBPs maintain accurate business titles and job profiles in the HRIS to allow for accurate talent information availability throughout the Nidec organization.
Act as trusted advisor to divisional leaders on talent management and succession planning. Facilitate regular talent review meetings and provide coaching to leaders on talent related matters. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and talent development within the division.
Utilize appropriate Nidec mobility program which aligns with organization’s current and future talent needs.
Provide training solutions which support organizational change initiatives.
Communicates timelines and provides regular reports to senior leadership during annual compliance training campaign.
Utilize digital tools and data analytics to improve development and training accessibility.
Leverage surveys to develop and implement action plans to improve satisfaction and engagement.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Experience/Skills:
5+ years of progressive experience in talent management, succession planning or a related HR role preferably in industrial manufacturing.
Proven track record of leading talent review and succession planning processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actional insights.
Thorough knowledge of HR and Labor principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in HR software applications; preference to Workday.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or equivalent HR certification preferred.
Must be sole US Citizen
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
