Manager, IPP Accounting (Vancouver)

You will

GENERAL

• Review monthly financial packages of allocated properties
• Review year end CAM/Tax reconciliation
• Work with auditors on year end audit or review engagements
• Review financials report for partners
• Supervise, coach and mentor 4 accountants while working cross functionally with property management, asset management, leasing, and finance

CASH MANAGEMENT

• Review monthly/quarterly cash position of properties to ensure accurate reflection of forecasts
• Review distributions and funding requests prepared by accountant

 BUDGETS/FORECAST

• Review annual property budgets.
• Review quarterly forecast for properties

OTHER

• Assist with property acquisition/disposition
• Support financial systems improvement initiatives
• Challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency and automation
• Ad hoc projects as required

You have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, major in Accounting, or a diploma in accounting is required
• A CPA (CGA, CMA or CA) designation is an asset
• Experience with Yardi voyager is preferred
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience at senior level in property management accounting
• Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment with tight closing deadlines and meet internal and external reporting deliverables
• A willingness to learn, great time management skills, and a high degree of energy and work ethic
• Strong computer skills with competency in Excel, Word and Yardi
• Exceptional interpersonal, Oral, and written communications skills

Pay range: $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
