Purpose of Position:

The Manager, Global Product Training is responsible for the design and development of all product training programs that support the adoption, utilization, and long‑term success of Hexagon Mining solutions. This role leads both digital and instructor‑led training development, oversees the Learning Management System (LMS), and ensures product learning aligns with Product Management, Customer Success, and Global Support priorities.

The position manages the LMS Specialist and plays a key role in building consistent and scalable learning programs across all regions and product portfolios.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Training Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global training strategy aligned with product plans and customer success outcomes.
  • Build a multi‑year roadmap of product training needs across portfolios.
  • Define and maintain standards for training quality, structure, and governance.

Content & Curriculum Development

  • Lead the creation of online learning modules, assessments, and blended learning paths.
  • Develop and deliver instructor‑led training for internal teams, partners, and customers.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, up‑to‑date, and linked to product releases, capabilities, and best practices.

LMS & Digital Learning Management

  • Oversee the structure, content taxonomy, analytics, and governance of the Learning Management System.
  • Manage and provide guidance to the LMS Specialist.
  • Promote scalable digital learning approaches that support global audiences.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management to align training with product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Work with Customer Success and Global Support to ensure training supports field readiness and customer outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Regions to tailor and deliver content that meets local needs while maintaining global consistency.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging accuracy and product positioning within learning content.

Program Management & Reporting

  • Manage the pipeline of training requests and maintain a global training schedule.
  • Track and report training performance, adoption metrics, and program impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes and training processes.

Stakeholder Enablement & Change Management

  • Educate internal teams on available training programs and best‑practice use of learning resources.
  • Support product launches, NPI readiness, and new capabilities through timely training development.
  • Contribute to the communication and adoption of new tools, processes, and product behaviours.
Knowledge and Experience - Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Product Training, Enablement, or related fields
  • Strong instructional design capability with experience creating digital learning content
  • Experience managing or administering LMS platforms
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning content
  • Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally in technology, product, or customer‑facing teams
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and program management skills
Knowledge and Experience - Desired:
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, industrial technology, or mining technology
  • Experience building or managing global learning programs
  • Familiarity with product‑led operating models and customer success methodologies
  • Relevant certification in instructional design or adult learning (e.g., ATD, CIPD, etc.)
