As the Manager, FP&A - Wholesale, you are responsible for providing sales reporting & planning support to our Wholesale channel. You will lead strategic analysis, performance reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to inform business decisions and drive outstanding results.

FP&A at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.
If you were the Manager, FP&A - Wholesale, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Primary FP&A business partner to the North America Wholesale Channel, supporting them with annual budget and subsequent reforecasting cycles for sales, margin and operating costs.
- Owning the long-term five-year sales plan for North America Wholesale, responsible for maintaining the plan, articulating key sales growth drivers to Leadership including quantification of investment required to support long term strategy.
- Supporting the FP&A team with the development of weekly and monthly tracking reports, and provide supporting analysis for strategic leadership team
- Providing commentary for weekly, monthly and quarterly budget:actual variance analysis on financial and operating metrics
- Leading key sales planning meetings, including coordination of the meeting materials and content (eg weekly drive sales, open-to-buy sales planning)
- Partnering with business stakeholders to help track and manage costs. Be an advisor where you see opportunities for savings to help drive profitability growth. Lead monthly P&L reviews to drive actionable insight around risks and opportunities surrounding sales growth, margin maintenance, and opex efficiencies.
- Managing Wholesale related system loading into Arc’teryx Financial Planning Software (Oracle) on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Executing other projects and tasks as assigned by your leader

- Identifying gaps and opportunities to improve processes, reporting or business practices within the North America Wholesale channel.
Are you our next Manager, FP&A – Wholesale?
- You have a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ work experience in an FP&A role, ideally in the retail or consumer products space, including experience in a leadership capacity
- You have a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent. A professional accounting designation or progress toward accounting designation is preferred
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SAP S4 HANA, Oracle, and Power BI is an asset
- You have experience building sales forecasts and developing data-based sales strategies
- You are an exceptional communicator
