Position Purpose:
Manages the overall production support team and mentors the team of data engineers. Supports planning features, measuring outputs, and ensuring quality products. They will also derive analytical insights from a variety of business contexts and communicate those insights effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
Lead a Production Support team responsible for monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents for batch processes across 3 shifts
Ensure consistent achievement of batch SLAs, timely incident resolution, high-quality service request handling, and accurate team timekeeping
Serve as the primary escalation point for high-severity issues, ensuring clear communication and coordinated response
Manages the planning, prioritization and execution of activities of team of data engineers
Develops the standards and processes required to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products
Manages and oversees the automation of key ETL / ELT (Extract / Transform / Load) and quality assurance (in collaboration with quality engineering team) processes for large volumes of data and migrations of workloads
Performs and monitors data quality, integrity, standards, master data management
Allocates available resources to meet operating objectives and provides team leadership, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.
Knowledge of Agile Software Development; Scrum (Software Development); Technical Support
Knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL); SQL (Programming Language)
Knowledge of Other: relational and non-relational databases, Cloud-based data processes, and business intelligence
Experience with one or more of the following Other: Experience in performing and monitoring enterprise level data governance, integrity, quality, managing master data, moving data between databases, providing metadata strategy, and business intelligence/analytics
