As a Lead iOS Engineer, you’ll drive the technical direction of our iOS app, delivering best-in-class experiences to our members while mentoring and inspiring the team. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to design scalable and innovative features, own projects end to end, and elevate our iOS engineering standards. This role is for someone passionate about iOS development and eager to drive impact through technical leadership and mentorship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex features for the Thrive Market iOS app.
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with product and business goals.
- Mentor and guide iOS engineers, sharing best practices and fostering technical growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering teams to create seamless, scalable solutions.
- Push the limits of iOS hardware and software to build innovative and delightful user experiences.
- Implement robust, test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality code and performance.
- Evangelize coding standards, architecture patterns, and operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years specializing in iOS.
- Deep expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a strong understanding of UIKit, Core Data, and networking.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping scalable, high-impact iOS features in a consumer-facing app.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
- Skilled at mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar through leadership and collaboration.
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Bonus Points For:
- Experience working in e-commerce or subscription-based platforms.
- Exposure to front-end development or cross-functional pods in an agile environment.

JOB INFORMATION:
- Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $225,000/Per Year.
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
