We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Lead Android Software Engineer with experience in modern Android architecture, Kotlin development, and team leadership. You will be part of a Mobile Engineering team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance mobile experiences. You will be involved in leading architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and driving major codebase improvements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in mobile development, performance optimization, and team mentorship. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Android experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to ensure timely and aligned feature delivery.
Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks while improving overall development workflows.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this role will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA on a daily basis.
Frequent collaboration with Engineering Leadership to shape long-term technical strategies.
Occasional interaction with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure robust CI/CD and release processes.
5+ years of professional Android development experience.
2+ years of demonstrated leadership and/or mentoring responsibilities.
Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
Hands-on experience with Dagger/Hilt, Coroutines, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong skills in performance optimization, debugging, and code refactoring.
Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and utilizing efficient GitFlow practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to mentoring and growth.
Experience working with legacy Android technologies (e.g., Java, XML-based UI, older SDKs).
Contributions to open-source Android projects or public technical writing.
Familiarity with mobile analytics, A/B testing frameworks, or Firebase.

Compensation Range of
Annual Salary: $1,350,000.00 - $170,000.00(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
