As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking a motivated Lab & Research Assistant to join our team. This role will support routine immunoassay workflows and laboratory operations in a scientifically collaborative and fast-paced environment with opportunities for hands-on learning and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine immunoassays including immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, ELISA, and related laboratory procedures
- Prepare samples, reagents, buffers, and other materials required for immunoassay workflows
- Maintain accurate experimental records and assist with data collection and documentation
- Support daily laboratory operations including inventory organization, equipment maintenance, and general lab upkeep
- Follow established laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Collaborate closely with Research Scientists and Lab Managers to support ongoing research and development activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pathology, or a related life science discipline
- Previous laboratory experience in immunoassays, histology, ELISA, or related techniques is an asset
- Basic knowledge of immunology, biochemistry, or pathology is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Compensation
- Salary CAD $50,000 – $60,000 base, commensurate with education, publication record, postdoctoral experience, and industry exposure.
