Designer With a Conversion Compass: You’re a talented junior designer who gets real satisfaction from building e-commerce pages that are clear, consistent, and conversion-focused. You’re comfortable creating layouts, wireframes, and prototypes using existing components — and you understand that great design supports funnels, promotions, and real business goals. If that sounds like you, you might have what it takes to be our new UX/UI Designer.
You’ll love working here…
We know you’ll thrive in our supportive work environment. This isn’t one of those companies that treats you like a brainless robot, slowly crushing your soul with 80-hour workweeks and pointless projects that never see the light of day. That’s not our style. So if you want to play in the major leagues – but without the stresses of Madison Avenue – this is the perfect job for you.
What You Bring to the Table…A portfolio that proves you can execute:
When we look at your work, we’ll see more than nice screens — we’ll see pages that are structured, intentional, and ready to ship. You can take copy, a campaign brief, or a rough concept and turn it into a clean, scannable layout that feels cohesive and conversion-aware. Your portfolio includes real websites, landing pages, or e-commerce work (live or simulated), and it’s obvious you understand hierarchy, spacing, and visual flow — not just decoration.
A system-first mindset:
You don’t fight design systems — you use them. Components, variants, spacing rules, and established patterns are your playground. You know how to build repeatable pages efficiently without reinventing the wheel, and you understand that consistency is what allows teams to move faster and scale. You spot inconsistencies instinctively and care about keeping things clean and organized.
Strong Figma instincts:
Figma is deep in your muscle memory. You’re comfortable building page layouts, assembling components, and creating basic prototypes that communicate intent clearly. Auto-layout doesn’t scare you. Version chaos does. Your files are tidy, logical, and easy for others to pick up, because good design doesn’t stop at the canvas.
Design fundamentals you can feel:
Typography, hierarchy, alignment, spacing… this is second nature to you. Your designs read clearly on desktop and mobile because you understand responsive behavior and how users actually scan pages. Nothing feels accidental. Everything earns its place.
An appreciation for how design drives results:
You understand that these pages aren’t art projects, they’re part of a funnel. You have a foundational grasp of e-commerce and marketing concepts like promotions, offers, conversion goals, and customer intent. You design with clarity and momentum in mind, knowing that good UX supports better decisions.
Detail-oriented under pressure:
Multiple BAU requests? Tight timelines? Iteration cycles? You stay organized, keep track of details, and don’t let things slip. You take pride in accuracy, because small mistakes compound fast on live pages.
A collaborative, low-ego operator:
You work well with UX, Copy, E-commerce, and Development partners. You take feedback without defensiveness, apply it thoughtfully, and come back stronger. You ask good questions, communicate clearly, and understand that great work is almost always a team sport.
Nice to have (but not required):
You’ve had some exposure to page builders like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify — or you’re eager to learn. You may have looked at heatmaps, analytics, or CRO insights before and are curious about how real users behave once your designs go live.
Still early in your career? That's okay.
We don’t expect you to have mastered everything yet. We’re looking for strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly inside a structured design system and fast-moving e-commerce environment.
Now, time to be honest: is this really you? If you’re nodding your head and feeling that flutter of excitement, then we can’t wait to meet you.
Other Qualities You’ll Need
We’re going to insist that you have these 3 qualities:
- You’re humble--you put the team and others’ needs ahead of your own
- You’re hungry to learn more
- You’re people smart--in the sense that you’re a great teammate
The truth is, if you don’t have these qualities you won’t last long with us. So if you’re missing one of them, be honest. Save yourself a lot of headaches and skip to a job posting that is a better fit for you.
What Will You Earn?
We believe in rewarding top talent. So let’s talk about salary once we’ve had the chance to get to know you better. Rest assured, we’re generous and offer above-market pay for the right person. If you bring the skills and experience, we’ll make sure the compensation reflects that.
You’ll also enjoy the following benefits:
- A generous healthcare package
- Monthly team events and activities
- Flexible Stat Holidays with the option to bank days for later use
And above all, you’ll join a team that you’ll never want to leave. Culture is everything to us. Yes, we work extremely hard to change as many people’s lives as possible. But we know how to have fun and reward ourselves too.
