Under the guidance of the Pipeline Supervisors, Pipeline and Technical Projects Manager, the Junior Pipeline TD supports and enhances the infrastructure that facilitates a production’s processes and the pipeline dataflow and overall workflow.

In this role you will:

• Devises and innovates methods of working through the development and maintenance of leading-edge proprietary pipeline tools.
• Assists in the development of the studio's core asset management pipeline and dataflow.
• Creates scripts allowing for automation of specific tasks.
• Maintains accurate documentation for all coding development and follows studio protocol.
• Provides additional technical support and training to production teams as needed.
• Crafts innovative workflow tools to facilitate and expedite production.
• Interprets and implements notes and feedback from the Pipeline Supervisors and/or Show CG Supervisors in a timely and qualitatively acceptable way.
• Interacts with IT staff with respect to operating, file and network systems issues.
  

Need to have:

• A demonstrable knowledge of workflows in CG Animation and/or Visual Effects
• Production experience with revisions control systems such as Git, or Perforce 
  

Software you will use:

• Maya
• Flow
• Linux
  

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Katana, Gaffer, Arnold, including their APIs and scripting
• Working knowledge of Flow Production Tracking/Shotgun system, including its API
• Working knowledge of render farm management software like Qube or Deadline, including its API
• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent experience
  
• Previous production experience with Qt
