Summary:
We are currently seeking a Junior Copywriter to join our Content Marketing team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.
What your team does:
Collaborating with multiple partners across the Clio marketing department, the CNE Content Team is responsible for communicating Clio's value to prospects and customers through channels and programs such as websites, email, direct mail, in-person and virtual events, guides, reports, ads, and more.
Who you are:
You are a persuasive copywriter who understands the basics of the marketing funnel, as well as conversion copywriting best practices. You have a curious mind, and want to A) see how the copy you write results in improvements in traffic, conversions, leads delivered/opportunities created, and revenue growth, and B) uncover opportunities to test and improve.
You bring strong attention to detail to your work; you thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment; and you're a great collaborator who's always willing to raise your hand to help out a teammate.
What you’ll be working on:

Writing and editing website copy, focused on improving conversion rates and enhancing user experience; contributing ideas to optimize existing copy/webpages for conversion.

Crafting compelling email copy that drives click-throughs and conversions; testing messaging and subject lines to identify the language works for our audience.

Writing and editing ad copy for paid social media, print campaigns, partner campaigns etc., to increase engagement and optimize ad performance.

Supporting in-person and virtual events with copy for booths, handouts, and promotional campaigns.

Reviewing performance data and applying what you’ve learned to test and optimize content performance. Supporting testing initiatives for digital campaigns and conversion rate optimization.

Brainstorming content and copy ideas for blog posts, articles, longform content, videos, ads, emails, landing pages etc. that keep our audience engaged and help us meet our traffic and conversion goals.

Proofreading and editing copy across various channels to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency.

Championing content marketing and conversion copywriting best practices, and disseminating learnings across the team.

Assisting with organizing and maintaining our content library, improving accessibility and usability for the team;

Coordinating with freelancers and tracking invoices.
What you may have:
-
Post-secondary education or relevant work experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or English;

1-2 years experience writing conversion-focused copy and executing on content needs for a brand;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-
An understanding of how to write for different marketing channels and audiences
-
A collaborative, deadline-driven mindset;
-
Strong attention to detail;
-
A portfolio of work showcasing your passion for copywriting and language, as well as the results your writing has driven.
Serious bonus points if you have:

Experience writing for/about B2B SaaS;

Experience delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced, demanding environment;

Experience in legaltech or the legal industry.

The full salary range* for this role is $59,800 to $70,400 to $81,000 CAD.Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
