The Role
Capco is seeking a Contract Back-End & Mobile Developer with expertise in .NET, Android, Azure, and Flutter to support the delivery of innovative technology solutions for our clients. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full application lifecycle, from designing scalable backend services to developing high-quality mobile applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build secure, reliable, and user-focused solutions while contributing to fast-paced project delivery.

What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET and Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Build and support Android applications and cross-platform mobile solutions using Flutter.
- Integrate mobile applications with cloud-based services, enterprise systems, and third-party APIs.
- Participate in agile delivery activities including code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment support.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve development efficiency, testing coverage, debugging, and technical documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience developing backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET Core, and REST API technologies.
- Hands-on experience building Android applications and cross-platform applications using Flutter.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application architectures.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication and authorization practices, and software development lifecycle processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in project-based environments.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, or related data access frameworks.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools within software development workflows.
