Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Launch plant MESs, including designing and developing IIoT solutions to integrate various manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Implement data acquisition, processing, and analytics solutions to monitor and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable IIoT applications.
- Develop and maintain software applications for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and process optimization.
- Ensure the security and reliability of IIoT systems and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IIoT systems and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IIoT and Industry 4.0.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of industrial automation systems and protocols (e.g., PLC, SCADA).
- Proven experience in developing IIoT solutions and applications, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Strong programming skills in languages and technologies such as Python, jQuery, MSSQL Server, or similar.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
