The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:
GENERAL
- Provide direct support to Global Product Manager as required on a daily basis
- Assists GPdMs with quoting activities, product market evaluations, regional and global market trend analysis
- Support product updates for Global Product Roadmaps and general presentations
- Assist with cross-functional organization evaluations to establish and facilitate maintenance of competitor assessments
- Work with cross-functional organization to assess and identify market trends and their impact on the defined product strategies
- Assists in the development and implementation of long-term projects (i.e. BP vs Bluebird success Rates by customer by product by region, etc.)
- Participates in team-oriented problem activities (i.e. new business meetings, technical workshops, marketing plans, etc.)
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Must understand and comply the laws and cultures in countries which Magna conducts business & Magna compliances.
- Involvement in financial matters is on a level of providing data only and/or making recommendations.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
- No direct supervision of incumbents and/or work units/departments.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure all safety and non-safety rules and regulations are followed
- Ensure adherence to established quality and housekeeping standards
- Review and adhere to MML's health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, operating procedures, and policies
- Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues
- Understand and uphold the policies that prohibit workplace violence and harassment
- In addition to the above, the duties include those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Currently Attending a College or University in the field of Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective and efficient time management skills
