Job Summary

Are you interested Mechanical Engineering in the buildings space? Introba is looking for an intern to join our Toronto, ON office for the Summer of 2026. As an intern you will assist engineers and engineering staff within a variety of project support roles. This co-op is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do
  •  Assist in setting up AutoCAD and Revit drawing files, including digitizing, organizing, and refining working drawings.

  • Support HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing drafting tasks based on mark-ups and guidance provided by the Team Leader and design staff.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with the Introba design checklist and established drawing standards.

  • Maintain and update AutoCAD/Revit files throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with design staff to coordinate mechanical requirements with other building systems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment

  • Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior

  • Commitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements

Your Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university program

  • Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit

  • Ability to think mechanically and/or mechanically inclined

  • Passion for mechanical building systems and sustainable design
