The Dexcom Sales Representative will be assigned a territory comprised of potential Health Care Professional (HCP) customers. This individual will be responsible for promoting the use of Dexcom products in the Diabetes Market by providing support services and solutions to HCPs. The Dexcom Sales Representative will communicate with prospects using a suite of technologies including, but not limited to, telephone, SMS, Email, MarketingCloud journey’s, video conferencing, etc.
This is a Fixed Term role that will be 12 months in length.
The Dexcom Sales Representative will:
- Achieve quarterly sales goals and meet Key Performance Indicator Metrics
- Provide education and training of Dexcom products to relevant HCPs in innovative ways
- Increase the Dexcom market share and hit territory targets in line with company expectations by utilizing the services and support from across the company in accordance with the Dexcom values and culture
- Utilize company CRM to identify business development opportunities, track activities and configure digital face-to-face presentations
- Support company initiatives within the territory virtual as well as in person
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer, Patient & Industry Knowledge
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the Dexcom/Diabetes customer’s industries, market conditions and trends, healthcare regulations, and competitor activities
- Maintain an understanding of all the Dexcom customer types, segments, and the patient’s experience (including unmet needs, drivers, and barriers)
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote Dexcom products and services – some travel may be required
Therapy Area & Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date Dexcom product knowledge and a thorough understanding of diabetes. Undertaking and regularly passing clinical and product knowledge assessments
- Implement marketing initiatives throughout the customer base according to company priorities/strategy and customer needs; including the launching of new products and services
- Differentiate between Dexcom products, services, and applications against competitor brands and product lines
Business Planning & Administration
- Prioritize & execute cycle and Quarterly objectives
- Analyze territory-level market share and other appropriate sales data to optimize efficiency to consistently meet or exceed goals and objectives
- Ensure correct and up-to-date information is communicated to customers
- All call reporting to be complete and within specified deadlines
Selling
- Execute call objectives appropriate to the customer’s segment and specific needs
- Connect and engage with prescribers and HCP’s, in individual and group set-ups, to help customers to discover, clarify and verbalize their needs and those of their patients, and identify gaps
- Act as a reliable resource for information on how Dexcom products and services can meet expressed and uncovered needs
- As appropriate, utilize the Dexcom sales process with each customer to identify priority opportunities and to capture progress to date.
- Drive recommendations of Dexcom products across territory to achieve growth targets.
Administration
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly administrations as required
- Maintain the CRM system as directed by Sales Manager
- Capture email and register HCP’s for marketing journeys
- Ensure all internal training courses/regulatory requirements are completed as directed
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes
- Experience in Medical Devices Field
- Experience using a CRM tool such as SalesForce
- French Language Skills
Education Requirements:
- BA or equivalent
Travel Required:
- 0 – 25%

$58,200.00 - $97,000.00
