🚀 About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the first human interaction many prospective members have with Honey Homes. Your primary responsibility is to convert inbound leads into scheduled walkthroughs, while also supporting pre-qualification, confirmation efforts, and lead nurturing for those not yet ready to convert. You’ll be a key player in shaping first impressions, qualifying fit, and surfacing critical feedback that strengthens our sales motion and improves conversion rates across the funnel.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-first environment and wants to play a foundational role in scaling a high-growth business.

🎯 Responsibilities

Respond rapidly to inbound leads: Call, text, and email new marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) within minutes (goal: ≤10 min response time).

Consult and qualify: Ask smart, empathetic questions to understand homeowner needs, assess fit, and determine readiness for a Honey Homes membership.

Book walkthroughs: Seamlessly schedule walkthroughs with the appropriate Field Specialist, ensuring accuracy across Admin and CRM, HubSpot.

Pre-qualify self-booked walkthroughs & set expectations: Reach out to self-scheduled leads to confirm fit, budget readiness, and understanding of our offering to ensure WT Specialists are meeting with qualified, informed homeowners, with clear expectations.

Nurture non-converting leads: Manage a pipeline of “not quite ready” prospects—delivering relevant insights and staying top-of-mind through timely, value-add follow-up.

Own your funnel: Maintain up-to-date, accurate records in HubSpot with lead status with proper pipeline hygiene.

Test and iterate: Work with Sales and Marketing to improve scripts, talk tracks, and messaging. Share learnings to refine qualification logic.

Re-engage cold leads: Identify and revive aged or stalled leads who may now be ready to re-enter the funnel.

Collaborate cross-functionally: Provide feedback on MQL quality, messaging performance, and homeowner objections to help improve overall sales and marketing strategy.

Manage up and influence: Identify process gaps, share insights, and suggest improvements that help us scale effectively.
📈 3-Month Outcomes

Consistently convert inbound leads into walkthroughs at or above target conversion rate.

Deliver qualified walkthroughs by validating fit and ensuring prospects are informed before meeting a Walk Thru Specialist and/or their first visit with their Handy Person.

Build and maintain a nurture funnel of homeowners who require more time or value before converting.

Refine our qualification playbook by identifying common patterns, blockers, and successful messaging from your first 100+ conversations.

Serve as the voice of the homeowner, surfacing insights that drive improvements across marketing, product, and sales.
👤 Qualifications

2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience in a high-velocity environment (SaaS, home services, real estate, or membership businesses a plus).

Strong communicator who can build trust quickly over the phone and through SMS/email.

Consultative and curious, with a natural ability to uncover needs and provide tailored guidance.

Organized and self-accountable, with a track record of managing pipelines and follow-ups with precision.

Proficient in HubSpot (or similar CRM) with the ability to manage tasks, workflows, dashboards and reports confidently.

Adaptable and proactive, with comfort navigating ambiguity and a willingness to test and iterate in a startup environment.

Resilient and self-motivated, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teammates.

Mission-aligned, excited about making homeownership easier, and eager to contribute to a fast-moving team.
💰 Compensation & Benefits

On-target earnings: The OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role is $80,000–$100,000 per year (base + commission) vary depending on your experience, skillset, and location.
