We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (in-person - Richmond, BC) with experience in maintaining and increasing dealer consignment and purchase activity. You will be part of an Inside Sales team responsible for driving sales growth and providing excellent customer experiences on all OPENLANE platforms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your sales expertise and contribute to revenue generation.

You Are: 

  • Detail Oriented.  Ensure sales meet account specifications. 

  • Customer-Focused. Provide prompt, courteous service and resolve customer issues in a friendly manner

  • Adaptable. Demonstrate flexibility in handling changing work environments

  • Proactive. Identify and address areas of concern, involving leadership as necessary

  • Collaborative. Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to identify and address concerns

  • Driven. Motivate team members to achieve goals

You Will:

  • Responsible for increasing dealer purchase behavior within an assigned region on and at all OPENLANE platforms

  • Responsible for increasing buyer penetration and loyalty on all OPENLANEplatforms

  • Maintain a 100% compliance rate on Salesforce utilization for the accounts within your assigned book of business

  • Responsible for the re-engagement or re-activation of fallout sellers for OPENLANE

  • Responsible for the handling and closing of all at auction if-bids for OPENLANE

  • Maintain a high-level conversion rate on all at auction if-bids within your assigned book of business.

  • Have frequent interaction with the Dealer Relations and Outside Sales teams to ensure the ultimate customer experience

  • Drive dealer sales growth through strategic and innovative ideas put into action

  • Utilize the OPENLANE technology toolbox to your advantage to gain market share and grow your assigned book of business

  • Responsible for generating revenue through the sale of at-auction ancillary services

  • Maintaining customer relationships with through continuing communication and excellent customer service

Experience & Education requirements:

  •  Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience within a related field

  • Excellent oral communication and telephone conversation skills

  • General knowledge of automobiles and the automotive industry

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to persevere and remain positive when faced with obstacles

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to maintain composure and quality of output in high pressure environments

  • Good understanding of methods for promoting and selling products and services

  • High school diploma

  • Valid driver’s license in the province of employment

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and Salesforce CRM, a plus

Target Based sales bonus and salary range from $21 to $24 per hour
