Job Description:

   

Manages virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of assigned or acquired accounts. Builds, maintains and forecasts sales pipeline, creates and develops account plans. Works closely with company outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move sales opportunities to closure. May generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities. Sets and executes sales strategy for assigned portion of account, territory or industry vertical.

Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

In a typical day as an Inside Sales Representative, you would…

  • Position and sell Aruba products, services and solutions to existing and new customers via phone or virtual tools
  • Identify new customers, products and business potentials
  • Establish and maintain relationships in order to cooperate with decision-makers
  • Cover all activities from preparation of configurations and offers with Aruba partners

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication, and possess compelling presentation skills
  • Excited to prospect for new business, expand our footprint in existing accounts, and drive opportunities to closure
  • Skilled at leveraging virtual tools to build relationships – phone, virtual meeting tools, social media
  • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or other post-secondary education in business administration or computer science or equivalent qualification
  • Experienced in sales of products or solutions
  • Savvy about the IT industry, including competitors and trends
  • Knowledgeable on direct and indirect sales models, as well as the distribution business
  • Highly self-motivated, powerful and a team player

How you’ll make your mark…

  • Create and execute strategic plans for your assigned accounts, verticals, industry, and territory, in conjunction with the field sales and channel go-to-market approach
  • Advise customers on standard solutions and collaborate with field sales as needed
  • You can build your own targeted sales prospect list, develop pipeline and build customer relationships
  • You'll manage prospect leads from inception to completion.

"The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
– Canada: Annual Salary CAD 78,700 - 146,100 //
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%.
