Job Description

Technical experience in network design and deployment in CITRIX, UNIX and Windows environment 

Experience in designing and deploying a Windows 2008r2 Domain including DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services 

Experience installing and configuring networking hardware including firewalls and proxy servers. 

Good analytical, troubleshooting, debugging skills and proven ability to discern critical from minor problems. 

Experience working within a large project team environment with tight timelines on major business transformation and IT initiatives 

Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision and work well under pressure 

Good interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work with and support colleagues, ability to adapt to and work effectively with clients and co-workers with different styles and levels of technical knowledge 

Positive, flexible, open-minded approach towards work assignments

Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Assist with setup/installation of new software, such as reviewing current software library / license library or obtaining documentation of what is available and how should it be installed;

TSR support for client requests, such as firewall rule changes, server / software upgrades, etc.;

Manage and resolve incidents relating to server/infrastructure, such as co-ordinating with Infrastructure service provider personnel to diagnose server related issues, or incidents related to file dialog boxes, DLL configurations, etc. in CITRIX, UNIX and Windows environment;

Review, maintain and provide improvements to the general environment (hardware configuration, disk organization, etc.);

Support the team on corporate initiates driven by TELUS such as infrastructure monitoring; and;

Duties, incident analysis with TELUS, updating software (non- SW), licenses.
