Job Summary

Our team is looking for an aspiring Human Resources professional to join us as a HR assistant. This is a unique opportunity to support three dynamic, multinational business units based out of St. Louis, Missouri. The HR assistant will provide support to a team of HR professionals, each with shared and separate business objectives. This is a Generalist-type role and will expose the candidate to the major key functions of Human Resources Management.

Job Description

Responsibilities & Duties

The Human Resources Assistant will work closely with HR team members in support of both administrative and strategic objectives including, but not limited to:

  • Oversee onboarding process for relevant employee population including coordination with IT, security, and facilities personnel, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) process, background checks, employee I9s, new hire announcements, benefit enrollment support, etc.
  • Participate in New Hire Orientation activities with support of Talent Acquisition team members. Activities include participation in training presentations, facilities tours, security/badging, etc.
  • Assist HRBPs in planning and execution of annual training programs and activities.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding process to include, working with managers to complete offboarding checklist, HRIS process management, payroll synchronization, etc.
  • Design and analyze feedback surveys for Training Programs and Corporate Meetings. Provide PowerPoint slides to educate Leadership on survey results as needed.
  • Provide solutions and/or answers to employees regarding HRIS issues, benefits, policies, processes, etc.
  • Provide support as needed for HRIS system business processes, reporting and employee data maintenance.
  • General cleanup and organization of HR files as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior related office experience or customer-service experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years of HR experience
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative for tasks and/or undeveloped areas in the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism. Candidates should be comfortable with following up with individuals at vary levels within the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Adaptable and motivated by a fast-changing work environment.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • This role will be reporting daily to the St. Louis office. Reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to work at least 25-30 hours per week.
