We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance Transformation to lead our Finance systems and process modernization efforts. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end transformation initiatives—including systems implementation, process redesign, and cross-functional change management—as we continue to scale our business and operations.
You will report directly to the CFO, and work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Product, and Operations. Your first major initiative will be spearheading the creation of an in-house subledger and its integration into NetSuite, setting the foundation for future automation and scalability.
What You’ll Do- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Finance systems and processes, with a focus on automation, scalability, and best-in-class controls.
- Oversee ongoing and future transformation projects, including the current buildout of an in-house subledger and NetSuite integration.
- Drive change management and stakeholder engagement across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Serve as the primary technical solution owner for Finance transformation initiatives across the company, partnering with internal and external resources as needed.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial operations, leveraging technology and industry best practices.
- Ensure all transformation activities align with US GAAP accounting standards and organizational objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in Finance technology, especially within the crypto and fintech sectors.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance transformation, systems implementation, or related roles within high-growth environments; prior leadership experience required.
- Proven track record leading large-scale ERP implementations and process redesigns; hands-on expertise with NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Deep accounting, financial and treasury knowledge and experience; strong understanding of subledger architecture and financial data flows.
- Financial services experience required. Experience working in or with crypto is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects from strategy through execution.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $191,000 - $259,000 USD for a Senior Manager level and $230,000 - $311,000 for a Director level in the New York City and San Francisco Bay Area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, qualifications and the level at which the candidate is hired.
