About the role

The Head of Analytics will lead Fortis’ data and analytics team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and driving our data strategy, providing actionable insights, and enabling data-informed decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of gaming industry metrics, and a proven track record overseeing and rolling out new projects or frameworks to an organization.


What you’ll achieve

  • You will develop and execute the analytics strategy, including data science, by building and leading a high-performing team to meet quality and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with C-suite and department heads to embed analytics into business strategies, providing insights on business health, growth opportunities, and optimization.
  • You will partner with data engineering to ensure scalable data infrastructure and tools align with analytics needs and industry advancements.
  • You will establish and enforce strong data governance practices in collaboration with data engineering and compliance leadership.
  • Lead the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling, to enhance business insights and predictions, hiring and guiding the team to deliver.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance analytics capabilities.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • 10+ years of analytics experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success driving business growth and rolling out high-impact, large-scale initiatives across multifunctional teams.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages, and proficiency with visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Deep knowledge of gaming analytics, covering both product (retention, LTV, ARPU, churn) and marketing insights.
  • Strong strategic vision paired with a willingness to engage in hands-on analytical work.
  • Excellent leadership skills, inspiring and managing cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ensuring complex insights are clearly conveyed to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of trends and innovate in fast-paced environments.
