As a group insurance contract writing advisor, you analyze contract applications and write insurance documents such as contracts and brochures. You develop and maintain a database used to draft documents. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze proposals received, write the clauses in contracts and, using a database, choose and adapt the clauses required to create insurance contracts in collaboration with internal partners

  • Develop and maintain databases used to draft documents in collaboration with relevant sectors

  • Follow and apply the defined standards and check interpretations with the organization's legal team

  • Answer questions from the people involved and discuss special files with clients, consulting firms and internal representatives from other sectors, among others

  • Plan work to meet the productivity objective set at the beginning of the year

  • Collect, compile, analyze data and make recommendations

  • Support the teams involved in projects and coordinate follow-up as needed

  • Help monitor the industry to stay on top of the latest trends, opportunities and best practices in your field

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in writing group insurance contracts

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in MS Word

  • Expert knowledge of group insurance
