About the role:We are seeking a highly organized and strategic professional to lead project management and planning across all global markets. In partnership with agency collaborators and internal teams, this individual will drive the annual development and delivery of revised strategic market plans.
This individual will be responsible for developing marketing plans and tactics in collaboration with commercial and industry partners to position Canada as a leading travel destination across designated markets. They will manage plan execution with strategic partners to deliver on KPIs, report on outcomes to stakeholders, and implement performance optimizations. The role further oversees global publisher partnerships and works with cross-functional leaders to advance long-term partner strategies.
Key accountabilities- Lead the development of strategic co-op marketing plans across assigned markets.
- Develop tactical plans to deliver on market strategy objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage the execution of marketing tactics and campaigns.
- Monitor and report on performance, providing recommendations and implementing adjustments to optimize results.
- Oversee project management for global market planning initiatives.
- Manage global publisher partnerships, ensuring effective project delivery and long-term collaboration.
- Direct supplier and agency relationships to support market initiatives.
- Drive partner engagement and collaboration to strengthen market impact.
- Graduation from a recognized university with a degree in Marketing (or other related field) or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
- Demonstrated success in managing integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience leading multi-party marketing initiatives in collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, diverse channels, and agency models; familiarity with emerging tactics, technologies, and the Canadian tourism industry is an asset.
- Exceptional project management, strategic thinking, and results-driven mindset, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, paired with creativity and collaboration.
- French/English bilingualism is an asset.
- Experience in the Canadian tourism industry
Salary range: $82,146 - $102,682
Within the range, the base pay offered is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills and relevant education/experience. Please note starting salaries for new hires typically fall between the minimum and mid-point of the range, to support internal equity and allow room for progression as employees grow and excel in their roles. The range above reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive at-risk pay program and benefits that we offer!
