As the Manager, Global FP&A, you will be reporting to the Director, Global FP&A, the Manager, Global FP&A is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment of the company's global financial reporting. This role is accountable for maintaining and enhancing forecasting models that support informed decision-making across the organization. The position plays a critical role in consolidating global inputs into a unified and coherent financial outlook and ensuring a "single source of truth" for planning and reporting. Success in this role is measured by the quality of financial models, the clarity of analysis, and the ability to influence business outcomes through data-driven recommendations. This role is expected to provide Senior and Executive leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency..
The Manager, Global FP&A role is perfect for a versatile, driven individual with high intellectual horsepower, exceptional quantitative skills, communication skills, keen attention to detail, and well-honed business judgement. You will interact with variety of stakeholders and collaborate with a strong team to ensure accurate forecasts, provide analytical insight, and drive profitability optimization opportunities. You will leverage technology to be a change agent for FP&A optimization and implement efficiencies in established processes.
A Day in the Life
- Managing global forecasting models in OneStream and MS Excel including income statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Perform various analysis in finalizing and presenting forecasts (variance analysis, scenario analysis, roll forwards, and continuities)
- Lead the month-end & quarter-end closing process for global including coordinating with sub-regions, investor relations, and balanced scorecard teams to ensure alignment
- Assist with the flash, monthly operating review, and prepare Board and other presentations
- Own, improve, execute and automate/enhance forecasting models and reporting processes that can generate reporting efficiencies and allow more time spent on assessing performance, driving outcomes, and optimizing profitability
- Lead, coach, and develop analysts and interns on the team to drive overall performance and excellence
- Juggle constant stream of ad-hoc requests aimed at further driving value
- This role will have 1 direct report (a FP&A intern with a 4 month term)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related area
- 7+ years of experience, preferably with at least 2 years at a Manager level, in a finance, accounting, or audit role at a top-tier management consulting firm, high-growth public company, and/or technology company
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high growth environment is a plus
- CPA qualification or related post-education qualification a plus
- A high degree of business partnering orientation toward internal stakeholders across the organization, passionate about creating best-in-class service and a best-in-class company
- Strong managerial and leadership skills, capable of fostering accountability, ownership, and delegation where appropriate
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work well with multiple levels within the company, including senior and executive leadership
- Focused attention to detail with sound analytical skills and strong critical thinking abilities that translate to findings into actionable recommendations and process
- Ability to break down and work through complex problems in a structured manner, using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) as well as automation and data visualization technologies such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Smartsheet workflow, Alteryx, or other BI tools
- Experience with data analysis tools like SQL; in its absence, eagerness to learn is a must
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and/or OneStream a plus, but not required
The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 to $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
