Job DescriptionJoin Wise as our Global Compliance Training Manager, a pivotal role in shaping and executing our compliance learning programme, in a global, and rapidly expanding Fintech.
You'll be instrumental in ensuring Wisers globally understand and adhere to complex regulatory requirements and internal policies, directly contributing to our sustainable growth and mission of making money borderless.
Reporting into the Group Regulatory Compliance Team, you'll drive the evolution of our global compliance training strategy, setting group-wide minimum standards and best practices. This role demands a proactive, strategic leader who can navigate a fast-paced, international environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to embed a strong culture of compliance across all functions.

Key responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Programme Design;
Develop and execute a comprehensive Global Compliance Training Strategy, aligning with Wise's evolving regulatory landscape
Lead the full training lifecycle, from training needs analysis (TNA) and instructional design to delivery and evaluation, in close partnership with regional Compliance Officers.
Design and implement robust processes for optimizing specialised compliance training across various regions and areas.
- Champion continuous improvement in the compliance training program through innovation, feedback, and the development and monitoring of performance metrics.
Programme Management and Operational Excellence;
Drive vendor selection and management for high-quality external compliance training content, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory nuances.
Represent the compliance training program during regulatory examinations and external reviews, demonstrating its effectiveness and adherence to supervisory expectations.
Collaborate with 1LoD and 2LoD subject matter experts to develop, update, and maintain engaging, practical, and legally sound compliance training materials.
Monitor and analyse overall mandatory training completion rates and effectiveness data, partnering with relevant teams to ensure regulatory compliance and drive targeted interventions.
Collaborate with the People team to optimise the LMS, ensuring content delivery, robust tracking, and robust reporting capabilities.
Experience:
Proven experience in leading and/or developing training programs across multiple jurisdictions within a financial institution, such as a bank or mature fintech.
Demonstrable experience in engaging with supervisory authorities and successfully presenting compliance programs.
You have led large-scale projects end-to-end, with clearly defined success metrics
Knowledge:
You have a good understanding across key regulatory compliance domains, including but not limited to conduct, anti-financial crime, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and corruption and customer care. Subject matter expertise across other areas is a plus.
You have hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including content deployment, user management, and reporting.
Leadership:
Demonstrated leadership in driving strategic compliance initiatives and influencing change within a dynamic, expanding organization.
Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Skills:
Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Solution-oriented approach. Adaptability and resilience in navigating regulatory changes, and organisational expansion.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, law, finance or other related areas. Additional certifications such as CAMS or ICA are beneficial.
