Position Summary

Provide a high level of human resources support to the PBP leaders within NADL with a strong focus on union and union free labor support, including project/change management, recruitment, talent management, and data analysis.  The PBP Generalist will act as a trusted business partner by developing strong and effective partnerships with internal client groups across multiple locations and geography as well as other P&E Centers of Excellence (COE).

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Assist with coordination of training and development programs inclusive of orientation and onboarding.
  • Data analytics and preparation, time keeping entries and action follow-ups.
  • Support workforce planning efforts.
  • Support Co-Op program, summer students and TPT’s.
  • Provide PBP coverage for NADL populations, where appropriate.
  • Facilitate/Organize employee engagement activities, including the tracking of ISay and Pulse action plans across PRNA functions.
  • Support daily union needs as appropriate based on client groups, including but not inclusive of CBA update, union clearances, grievances, attendance management and tracking, discipline management and tracking, career fairs and community events etc.
  • Additional people related projects as required.

Nature & Scope

Position typically works with all levels of management and employees of Pernod Ricard USA on a broad range of P&E activities and initiatives. Communication frequently includes sensitive information, requiring complete confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts. Decisions may impact the organization, and errors may cause significant expense to the entire organization. Requires a high level of service responsiveness to internal customers and a strong, collaborative partnership with colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
  • Experience / Background: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast moving, agile, entrepreneurial, corporate environment. Must multi-task and work independently. Display a high level of energy and self-motivation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of the PRNA organizational structure and the team’s functional structures.
  • Dedicated self-starter with excellent project management skills and a drive to succeed.
  • Motivated, energetic, critical thinker and problem-solver who is highly organized.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and establishing a direction on one’s own, with frequent support but without requiring constant supervision.
  • Ability to initiate, build, and manage cohesive partnerships and professional relationships at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate/present information to audiences at all levels of the organization, gearing communication toward the target audience; ability to communicate at a high level with an impeccable detail orientation and a focus on customer service and relationships.
  • Ability to analyze a problem/question, prioritize, and determine the level of intervention or escalation necessary.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines, managing multiple varied projects simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and create data, analyze statistics, identify trends, and proactively make balanced, objective recommendations and realistic action plans to achieve maximum results.
