Elevate your career in a role where your "clients" are the legal experts shaping the industry. As a Funding Specialist, you’ll be the primary point of contact for notaries and lawyers across Canada, proactively navigating the complexities of the funding process to ensure every purchase closes on its scheduled date.
Where You’ll Make An Impact:
- Drive the Funding Process: You’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end funding cycle, managing 30–50 files per month. You’ll ensure closing dates are met by proactively handling everything from generating legal documents to coordinating wire transfers.
- Be a Partner to Legal Experts: You will act as the main liaison for notaries, lawyers, and FNF. Whether you’re sending instructions or validating milestones, you’ll ensure a seamless professional experience for our legal partners.
- Solve Problems Proactively: You’ll be the first to identify and resolve "at-risk" files. You’ll handle common funding hurdles, such as delays, payout errors, or missing documentation, ensuring that every purchase closes on schedule.
- Maintain Precision & Compliance: Using Salesforce, Middle Office, LMS360 and Front, you’ll manage a complex dashboard to ensure 100% accuracy. From the initial request for funds to post-funding compliance (up to 90 days), you make sure no registration detail is left hanging.
What We Value:
- One (1) year of experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.
- You are comfortable managing a dashboard of 30–50 files per month with precision. A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, but can deliver results independently.
- A "see it through" mindset with the discipline to manage files from inception to completion. You are self-driven and take full accountability for meeting tight deadlines.
- You’re a natural with technology and can easily juggle multiple platforms like Salesforce, Middle Office, LMS360, Front, and Excel simultaneously to keep things moving.
