As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's product solutions. We bring data in from all corners of the enterprise. You can understand what’s driving your business today and identify the opportunities ahead.

About You

• You will provide your implementation expertise to our clients while understanding how to best configure and test Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.
• You will develop and deliver detailed IT solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring sophisticated interpersonal and technical skills.
• Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours).
• Project management activities include interaction with company and client leaders and cost/schedule monitoring.
• May have some financial responsibilities, including project cost estimation, proposal generation, and invoicing.
• May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product or service opportunities in customer organization

Responsibilities

• Become a specialist in the Workday Financials product suite
• Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing
• Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
• Assist the integration consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions
• Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
• Help mentor new consultants
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday standard methodologies and is referenceable once the client is in production
• Share product knowledge with other consultants
• Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them informed of overall project status

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of functional experience in Financial, Revenue, Spend, Performance Management software solutions or systems
• 5+ years proven ability implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian or similar applications
• Validated Functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting
• 5+ years of Consulting experience
• 6+ required and preferred qualifications for the role

Other Qualifications

• Must be able to work on government client engagements
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Passion for customer service
• Validated project management experience
• Functional experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
• Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously is a plus
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation and/or MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Bilingual (English/French) is a plus

Basic Qualifications (P4 Senior)

• 5+ years implementing Financial, and/or Expense Management ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as either a consultant or customer
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting

Basic Qualifications (P3 Consultant)

• 3+ years implementing Financial, and/or Expense Management ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as either a consultant or customer
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting

Responsabilités

• Devenir spécialiste de la suite de produits Workday Financials

• Participer au mentorat de nouveaux consultants ou de nouvelles consultantes
• S’assurer que le client profite des méthodologies standard de Workday et que le client, une fois en production puisse servir de référence
• Partager les connaissances sur les produits avec d’autres consultants ou d’autres consultantes
• Fournir au gestionnaire principal de mission ou à la gestionnaire principale de mission des rapports sur le(s) statut(s) et tenir cette personne informée quant à l’avancement du projet

Qualifications de base

• Cinq ans ou plus d’expérience fonctionnelle dans les solutions ou systèmes logiciels de gestion des finances, des revenues, des dépenses et du rendement
• Cinq ans ou plus d’expérience reconnue dans le domaine de la mise en œuvre de Workday, de SAP, d'Oracle, de PeopleSoft, d'Ultimate Software, d'ADP, de Ceridian ou d’autres applications similaires
• Expertise fonctionnelle reconnue dans au moins un des domaines suivants : grand livre, comptes fournisseurs, comptes clients, facturation, approvisionnement, gestion des actifs, projets, gestion des dépenses, information financière ou budgétisation
• Cinq ans ou plus d’expérience en consultation
• Six ans ou plus d’expérience requise et qualifications souhaitées pour le poste

• Une expérience dans le déploiement simultané de plusieurs projets est un atout
• Pouvoir être en déplacement jusqu’à 50 % du temps
• Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est un atout
