Position Overview

Autodesk is hiring a Full-stack Software Developer to join the Forma Data Management team. Our team focuses on building robust workflows and foundational services that enable seamless data management and collaboration across the platform.

We are looking for a developer who is a strong problem-solver and can leverage AI tools to develop high efficiency while ensuring the reliability and scalability of our core systems.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical services that support complex data-rich workflows. Your core focus will include:

  • Developing robust Document management features to provide customer values.

  • Tackling integration challenges to enable seamless access and editing of project assets.

  • Building responsive, data-rich features to support complex user interactions and workflow transitions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Location: Based in Vancouver (2 days/week in-office).

  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional software development. We are looking for someone who has successfully contributed to team projects and can demonstrate their impact through specific examples—whether from professional work, internships, or meaningful personal projects.

  • Cultural Alignment: A professional approach that naturally aligns with our ONE ORBIT culture—demonstrating strong ownership, a system-first mindset, and a collaborative working style.

  • Learning Agility: A quick learner who can rapidly adapt to new technical challenges and complex domain logic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React for full-stack development.

  • Comfort with Git, code review, and CI concepts.

  • Agile/Scrum experience.

Please note that as this is a global team, this role may require 11am-7pm work hours about 2/3x a week.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $72,000 and $105,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
