Job Summary
AI is reshaping how we build. As development becomes faster, the challenge shifts to making strong technical decisions, designing scalable systems, and shipping high-quality software quickly.
We’re looking for a highly hands-on Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end products, collaborating across teams, and using AI tools to accelerate development and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of product features and contribute to system design decisions
- Translate ambiguous problems into scalable, production-ready solutions
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Write high-quality, production-ready code across the stack
- Collaborate effectively with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to unblock progress and align on technical direction
- Make pragmatic tradeoffs across speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Improve reliability through testing, observability, and performance optimizations
- Participate actively in code reviews, both as author and reviewer
- Use AI tools to prototype, build, and debug more efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years building and shipping production applications
- Solid fundamentals in system design and backend architecture
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Bias toward shipping quickly and learning from real user feedback
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams
- Experience integrating or building AI-powered systems or workflows is an asset
Tech Stack
- Backend: Python (FastAPI), async, SQLAlchemy, Postgres
- Event-driven systems + Redis (Streams/PubSub)
- Frontend: React + TypeScript, modern stack (Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui), REST and GraphQL APIs
- State/data: TanStack Query; validation (Pydantic)
- Infra: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), GCP
Bonus
- Experience with RBAC / row-level security
- Familiarity with deep event-driven or pub/sub experience
- Experience building internal tools or platforms
- Exposure to observability and performance systems
Pay Scale
- $100,000 - $130,000 per year
- The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
