Frontend Engineer - Vancouver, BC

At PG Forsta, our Engineering team turns ideas into innovative products that help global businesses and market research agencies succeed. We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our Vancouver team.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement technical features
  • Improve code quality through pair programming and reviews
  • Ship high-quality code to production daily
  • Integrate security throughout the development process
  • Author documentation and participate in technical reviews
  • Troubleshoot and support issue resolution

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Strong skills in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience building single-page web applications
  • Experience in JSON and API development methodologies
  • AI assisted development (we use Windsurf)
  • Ability to write performant, testable UI code
  • CSS proficiency
  • Fluent English communication

Bonus Skills

  • Redux Toolkit and RTK Query
  • Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Grafana, TeamCity
  • Testing experience (end-to-end, unit)
  • Frontend/CSS architecture expertise

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $71,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
