The FP&A Senior Analyst will provide support for the Planning & Analysis function and will be a Finance Business Partner to key budget owners in the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will use their expertise to guide the team on management & financial reporting, financial modeling, and problem-solving to help drive revenue and reduce costs.
Reporting directly to the Leader, Corporate FP&A, the FP&A Senior Analyst will be a key member of the FP&A team and will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial system (Vena), supporting end-users, and ensuring data accuracy and security. The Senior Analyst will work closely with finance, IT, Agile and other business units to analyze requirements, implement system improvements, and troubleshoot issues
You’ll be responsible for:

System Management & Optimization: Leading the administration and day-to-day management of financial systems (different modules and reports in Vena) to ensure reliability and scalability.
Overseeing the financial reporting processes, creating and managing financial reporting tools, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis to support the FP&A department's reporting needs and provide insights for strategic decision-making. Assisting in development of management reports and dashboards. Developing and enforcing protocols for data accuracy, validation, and maintenance across financial systems

Managing end-to-end finance systems projects, including planning, implementation, training, and ongoing support for users across multiple departments.
Conducting thorough testing on new modules and functionalities, documenting processes and issues. Ensuring consistency and system stability during transitions Identifying, designing, and implementing improvements to financial processes, leveraging technology to streamline workflows, enhancing automation, and reducing manual tasks.

Creating training documents and training finance and business on new system functionalities and process updates, improving adoption and minimizing disruption.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as the liaison among Vena, FPA, Finance Operations, P&C, Agile, and other relevant departments, translating financial needs into technical requirements, and supporting both strategic and operational objectives.

Continuously improving systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy; implementing system automation for recurring financial tasks, reducing process time

Supporting the FP&A ADAPT transformation to improve financial support to the business, through process efficiency and providing access to data & analysis.
You bring:

4+ years of experience in finance systems management or a related finance/IT role along with experience in financial planning & analysis or finance business partnership roles (business case evaluation, budgeting, forecasting and monthly results reporting).

Prior experience with Vena and ERP Systems (JDE, workday) will be an asset.

Project management skills, with an understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies preferred.

CPA designation, working towards designation or equivalent education required

Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.

Good time management skills, multi-tasking, critical thinking and presentation skills

Strong communication skills both written and verbal
