About the company

Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship production code and data flows for customer accounts, serving as technical lead for a small set of enterprise clients and owning the results they see in live environments. The role combines hands-on engineering with direct client work, regular travel to sites, and clear communication with technical and business leaders.

What you'll do

- Write production code for customer-specific integrations, data pipelines and analytics-driven tools, spending most of the week on hands-on building.

- Serve as the main technical contact for two to three large enterprise accounts, working with stakeholders from executive level to day-to-day operators.

- Gather requirements, workshop solutions and build quick prototypes with customers before handing them to the product team.

- Own key performance metrics, solution performance and service levels for live customer systems connected to their ERP platforms.

- Travel to customer sites across the United States roughly 30% of the time.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Three to five years of experience in a client-facing engineering role, with direct work alongside customers.

- Strong engineering fundamentals and the habit of writing production code every day, not only design or consulting work.

- A product mindset, with an understanding of how software products are built, held to quality standards and guided by a clear vision.

- Highly organized, able to manage several accounts at once and coordinate across engineering, AI and design teams.

- Comfort using AI tools in everyday workflows, plus hands-on experience with cloud platforms and contemporary data tooling.

- Proven experience delivering data flows that run in real client production systems rather than sandbox or development environments.

- Ability to explain technical work and its financial impact clearly and concisely to non-technical executives.

- Hands-on technical experience with enterprise or mid-market commercial clients, including discovery work, delivery ownership and handling leaders from executives to floor staff.

- Working knowledge of Go or Python applied to data processing services in a public cloud.

- Capability in schema design, connecting systems and monitoring health across large bespoke data sets.

- An undergraduate or graduate credential in a computing, engineering or adjacent technical subject.

Bonus points

- Fluent English, with bilingual French and English as a priority for early hires.

- Prior work at a business software vendor serving commercial planning teams.

- Earlier experience as a forward deployed, solutions or technical account engineer at a customer-embedded engineering organization.

- Exposure to machine learning applications such as forecasting or price setting, or to contemporary data platforms.
