Make Your Mark:
BlackLine is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Lead to join our Financial Systems team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Systems, this role will support the core systems leveraged by our Accounting & Finance teams, with a primary focus on Order-to-Revenue (O2R) systems, including Zuora Billing and Revenue. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience as both an Administrator and Solutions Architect, maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing financial systems. They should be proficient in overseeing system integrations, handling technical documentation, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the day-to-day needs from our business stakeholders.
You'll Get To:
• Lead and contribute to the development of financial system enhancements and automation projects throughout the full SDLC lifecycle, leveraging Zuora (Billing, Revenue, and OneID), Avalara, NetSuite, Salesforce, and JIRA.• Analyze and develop a strong operational knowledge of our internal end users' complex processes, practices and workflows, requirements and specifications; leverage this knowledge to deliver comprehensive automated solutions.• Assist with system integration projects within Order-to-Revenue. Define processes, maintain documentation, oversee deployment, and ensure ongoing system health and maintenance.• Support data migration activities related to new acquisitions, international expansion and new system implementations.• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system customizations and process changes, ensuring alignment with business needs and accurate execution.• Develop and deliver end-user training on new systems, features, and policies, including creating documentation, instruction manuals, and conducting training sessions and office hours.• Provide day-to-day system troubleshooting, logging and resolving issues through the internal ticketing system (JIRA), ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.• Support monthly and quarterly ITGC processes, ensuring proper documentation, sign-off, and audit compliance.• Manage and coordinate system implementations, enhancements, and integrations, collaborating with third-party implementation partners to ensure successful project execution.• Facilitate both internally planned and vendor-managed system releases, ensuring alignment with the overall project roadmap and timely execution with proper coordination across impacted teams.
What You'll Bring:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience with Zuora Billing and Revenue (or similar financial systems), serving as both an Administrator and Solutions Architect.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.• Proven experience working directly with Accounting and Finance teams, understanding their needs and requirements.• Strong expertise in financial systems and tools including Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite, iPaaS, Salesforce, Confluence, JIRA, Coupa, etc.• Deep understanding of Zuora's functionality, including Billing Object Model, Workflow, Deployment Manager, Data Query, and Custom Reports/Searches.• Experience collaborating with third-party development teams and external vendors.• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with finance teams, auditors, technical teams, and system users at all organizational levels.• A solid understanding of integration platforms and data transfer processes across financial systems.• Experience creating enterprise level technical documentation.• Prior experience creating change management documentation to support ITGC's.

Salary Range:
USD $141,000.00 - USD $176,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
