Your Role as a Financial Planner

As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing a client practice built on trust and comprehensive advice. This is a planning-first role, supported by a firm that values your professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Listen closely to clients to identify aspirations and long-term financial goals.

·       Develop and implement holistic financial plans covering investments, cash management, risk, retirement, and estate planning.

·       Conduct detailed analysis of clients’ financial records to create customized strategies.

·       Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

·       Grow your book of business organically through referrals and ethical advice.

·       Manage client service and administrative needs with precision and confidentiality.

Qualifications & RequirementsMust-Have:

·       Active registration as a Mutual Fund Dealing Representative with CIRO (or predecessor MFDA).

·       Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

·       2–3 years of experience in a client-facing financial advisory or planning role.

·       Clean compliance record and client-first mindset.

·       Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

·       To hold out as a Financial Planner, the individual must have an FP designation.  CFP, PFP, QAFP, etc


  Our Commitment to Your Development:

Willingness to obtain the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) within 12–18 months.

Preferred (Assets):

·       Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation (or in progress).

·       Experience with financial planning software.
