The role
You'll work closely with customer service operations and the engineering team to operate our internal systems and ensure our company's and client's financial states are accurate. The work will include reconciling user and company statements, monitoring and creating cashflow metrics, responding to chargebacks, and preparing furnishment records for credit bureaus.
As a operations analyst, you'll have the opportunity to learn and operate ledger systems, work with large datasets, and understand patterns of user behaviour. Your work will be at the forefront of Grid's ongoing success and growth, ensuring financial accuracy and getting our customers one step closer to financial freedom.
What you’ll do:
- Operate ledger systems
- Reconcile user financial states
- Respond to elevated user inquiries passed forward by our Customer Success team
- Monitor and respond to chargeback forms from processors
- Prepare furnishment records for submission to credit bureaus
- Analyze and report internal bugs to our Money Engineering team
- Monitor cash flow behavior and derive key insights from our metrics
What we're looking for:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- An analytical mind - you look for patterns and are able to provide insights based on them
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- An amicable disposition, easy to work with
- A desire to grow your skills and experience, and to grow with the company!
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in a related area
- Proficiency/familiarity with SQL
- Experience in a customer service position
- Basic understanding of ledger systems/flow of funds
- Experience in financial lending services
